How to Open a Champagne Bottle

Then, remove the foil and wire cage from the cork, but keep a firm grip on it to prevent it from popping off prematurely. Hold the bottle at a 45-degree angle away from yourself and others, and slowly turn the bottle while holding the cork steady. The pressure inside the bottle will cause the cork to slowly release with a gentle pop. Pour the champagne into flutes or coupes and enjoy!
