The Welcome Party — Where the Fun Started

Danny and Nick’s celebration actually began the night before the wedding. They held a welcome party in the Hotel Del Monte courtyard after the rehearsal dinner. Guests mingled among the tall green hedges. Speeches flowed. Drinks went up for toasts. Friends laughed until their eyes watered.

Getting Ready at the Hotel Del Monte

The morning of the wedding started inside their hotel room. Nick helped Danny with his tie. Danny pinned a white lily boutonniere onto Nick’s lapel. A bottle of Don Julio 1942 sat on the side table next to their rings. Every detail told a story.

Furthermore, Thomas and second photographer Leah North worked together to make sure nothing got missed. One captured the big moments. The other caught the small ones happening in the background. Together, they built a full picture of the morning.

Hotel Del Monte Wedding Photographer — Portraits That Stand Out

After getting ready, the grooms stepped out into the hotel grounds for portraits. The rose garden framed them against a bright blue sky. The reflecting pool caught their reflection as a Canadian goose glided past in the background. The long hallways of the hotel gave a bold, clean look. The stairwell windows let in soft, moody light.

The Ceremony — A Moment to Remember

Mariachi Santa Cecilia played as guests took their seats on the ceremony lawn. The American flag flew overhead at the Naval Academy grounds. Both grooms walked down the aisle with their parents. Celebrant Sean Woods led the vows with warmth and care.

Nick read his vows first. Then Danny read his. Guests wiped their eyes. Rings slid onto fingers. Then the two grooms shared their first kiss as husbands, and the whole crowd stood and cheered.

The Reception — Food, Dancing, and Glowing Lilies

The reception room looked stunning. White lilies filled the space. The cake from Layers Cake sat ready on the table. Flor de Monterey’s flowers added color and life to every corner.

During cocktail hour, Mariachi Santa Cecilia played again while guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres outside. Siblings gave heartfelt toasts inside. Then the first dance began, and the energy never dropped from there.

DJ Malcolm Entertainment kept the floor packed all night. Guests danced with glowing battery-lit lilies in their hands. Thomas used a shutter drag technique for the dance floor shots, turning the lights into streaks of pure color and motion. Finally, Danny and Nick cut the cake together, and the night ended on a perfect note.
